Dr. Aleke Stöfen-O´ Brien

Dr. Aleke Stöfen-O´Brien is Associate Professor (Ocean Governance, Sustainability, Governance and Management) at the World Maritime University- Sasakawa Global Ocean Institute in Malmö, Sweden. Her research and teaching covers aspects of international law, law of the sea and ocean governance.

She has previous work experience at the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Secretariat of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity, the World Health Organisation, the European Commission as well as the UN Institute for Training and Research.
