Kerstin von Stürmer

Kerstin von Stürmer grew up in Dresden. After studying political science and German language and literature in Cologne and Hamburg (diploma), she worked as a journalist in various positions in Luxembourg, Cologne, and Hamburg and is now head of the port department at NDR Hamburg.

She is the author of several books on the history of Hamburg and the construction of the new sailing cruise ship “Seacloud II.”

Kerstin von Stürmer is involved in various maritime organizations, such as the “Maritime Quarter” in Kiel, and is a presenter at numerous cultural, political, and economic events in Berlin, Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, and Lower Saxony.
