Special acknowledgement for our member of the board of trustees Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Peter Ehlers: The former president of the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency was awarded with the Cross of Merit, 1^st Class, of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany for his honorary engagement for maritime environmental protection as well as for the further development of maritime law.
